Your clients require greater surface area for high-flow heat exchange applications. Our Corrugated Die is designed to meet this requirement effectively. It is developed for large contact-area heat transfer applications and is compatible with 500 and 600 fin forming machines.

 

The die works with 0.15–0.5 mm aluminum and 0.12–0.35 mm stainless steel. Its continuous corrugated (wave-shaped) structure significantly increases the contact area between the fin surface and the fluid, greatly improving heat dissipation efficiency. It is widely used in large water chillers and marine radiators.

 

Our factory has 18 years of technical experience in die manufacturing. We use a combined roll-forming and stamping process. The upper die features a corrugated profile, with adjustable wave height ranging from 3–12 mm. The lower die is designed with a matching profile for stable forming.

 

The die surface is treated with hard chrome plating with a thickness of 5–8 μm, improving wear resistance by up to 40%. Die life exceeds 480,000 strokes. We use precision machining equipment to ensure high accuracy in all die components. This Corrugated Die provides enhanced surface performance.

 

Smooth Line for Consistent Results

The production process is designed for stable and consistent output. The coil undergoes preheating stress relief at 50–80°C before entering the forming section. The die operates at a speed of 100–160 strokes per minute.

 

Wave length is adjustable from 10–20 mm, and a vision inspection system monitors fin quality after forming to ensure consistent corrugated structure accuracy. Fin width ranges from 80–590 mm, allowing compatibility with different product specifications. This Corrugated Die ensures stable production quality.
